According to latest news, Wicketkeeper batsman Umer Akmal
was arrested for breaking signal and interrupting the law & order situation.
He was going on his Car to attend a marriage party and driving recklessly he
broke traffic signal, and near Firdous Market, the Traffic Warden catch the Cricketer
near Firdous Market and ask for documents of his Car and driving license. This made
the cricketer angry and he started to fight with Warden.
However the cricketer is of the view that he was on his way
and was following the traffic rules and going on his way, but the Traffic
Warden stopped him and beat him. On the other side the Traffic Warden said that
Akmal use abuse language and gave him threats of bad results.
Test Cricktere Kamran Akmal and the elder brother of
Umer Akmal said that Police didn’t allow him to meet with his brother, while
the lawyers also not allowed meeting with him. The police officials enter FIR against
Umer Akmal for breaking traffic signal, use of abusive language. Kamran Akmal
said that Police didn’t present Umer in Court in due course of time.
