Government of Punjab and NADRA to Issue Computerized Weapon License

Punjab Government seems to be more active than any other provincial government of Pakistan as Punjab Government has initiated several Public Welfare Projects including Metro Bus in Lahore and Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Laptop and Lam Schemes for Students, Computerization of Examination System and Computerization of Land Record System etc.

Now Government of Punjab has also initiated the process of Computerization of Weapon License form 26^th of the January 2015. The Interior Department of Punjab has advertised to apply for the Computerization of Weapon License, in first phase, Government of Punjab will issue Computerized License to those who got Manual Weapon License from 2009 to 2014.

Computerization Weapon License Fee:

The Normal Fee is 2000 as per Government of Punjab Website statement, however those who hold Manual Weapon License will have to pay 1400 Rupees in order to got Computerized Weapon License, while NADRA will issued Computerized Weapon License, you have to pay 1400 rupees on UBL Omni Shop.

Last Date to Apply:

Interior Department has marked 28^th February as last date to apply for Computerized Weapon License, after that deadline, any Manual Weapon License will be considered as illegal and will be expelled.

Procedure to Get Computerized Weapon License:

You have to pay 1400 Computerized Weapon License Fee to UBL Omni Shop, present this fee to NADRA Center along with your Computerized ID Card, Current Manual Weapon License and 2 Passport snaps.
