On August 14, 2022, Jaxeri grabbed headlines with the reveal of the Nur-E 75 prototype, an electric hatchback aimed at the economy car segment. Created by the DICE Foundation, a Pakistani-led US NGO, the Nur-E 75 features a robust single electric motor producing 107HP and 200 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 127 km/hr.

The Nur-E 75 offers an impressive driving experience with each charge, thanks to a 35 KWh battery that provides up to 200 kilometers of range. Charging options are flexible, with standard charging taking 7-8 hours and fast charging filling the battery in just 2 hours.

Commercial production of the Nur-E 75 is scheduled to begin towards the end of 2024. With around 60% of its components manufactured locally, the Nur-E 75 symbolises the emerging growth of Pakistan's domestic production sector. PTI Wins By-Election in Tehsil Mathra; JUI and Jamaat-e-Islami Defeated

PESHAWAR: Against all odds, PTI has defeated the Pakistan People's Party, ANP, and PML-N in the by-election of Tehsil Mathra. The by-election was held on Sunday 6 August 2023, for the vacant seat of chairman. It is to be noted that previously the seat was held by Faridullah of JUI-F who died.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's candidate Inaamullah secured a victory with 20,333 votes, while JUI's Rafiullah managed to obtain 13,564 votes.

Furthermore, Jamaat-e-Islami's candidate Iftikhar Ahmad secured 9,546 votes, placing him in third position. PTI workers celebrated on Warsak Road.

The total number of voters in the constituency has a total of 218,630 registered voters including 120, 738 male voters and 97, 892 female voters.

The election commission set up a total of 155 polling stations in Mathra tehsil. A total of 496 presiding officers were assigned election duties, and district returning and returning officers were given the powers of magistrates. It is surprising that PTI still won the election after all odds, i.e. arrest of Imran Khan and after 9^th May incident.

Toshakhana Case: Imran Khan Sentenced to 3 Years Imprisonment and a Fine of One Lakh

Islamabad: District and Session Court Judge Humayun Dilawar has sentenced PTI Chairman Imran Khan to three years in prison and a fine of one lakh rupees in the Toshakhana operation case.

The hearing of the Toshakhana operation case began after three adjournments, in which the PTI Chairman's lawyer Khawaja Haris arrived in court and said that I want to make submissions. We were stopped from entering the High Court, we are filing a request for transfer of your court.

The court, while delivering the verdict, said that the allegation against the accused has been proven. The accused had a false statement recorded, the accused gave a false declaration, the accused gave a false sworn statement in the Election Commission. The court declared the PTI Chairman guilty of corrupt practices. The verdict said that the dishonesty of the PTI Chairman has been proven. The court sentenced the former Prime Minister to three years in prison and also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on him.

The court ordered the immediate arrest of the PTI Chairman and said that the IG Islamabad should execute the arrest warrant.

After the decision of the District and Session Court in Islamabad, there was intense sloganeering by the supporters of the PML-N lawyers in the court premises.

Earlier, in the Toshakhana felony operation case, Judge Humayun Dilawar had given the PTI Chairman's lawyer a final deadline to give arguments, saying that I will deliver the verdict if arguments are not given by 12 o'clock.

The hearing began after two adjournments due to the non-arrival of the PTI Chairman's lawyer in court, in which the assistant lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared before the Additional District and Session Judge Humayun Dilawar on behalf of the PTI Chairman's lawyer Khawaja Haris and said that Khawaja Haris is present in the Accountability Court, he has requested for more time.
