Southee Sink English Team – Black Caps Top Pool A with 3 Win

New Zealand Team beats England Cricket Team in their third match of ICC World Cup 2015, English Captain Won the toss and decided to test his men with batting first, however entire team was wrap up on 123 total. Tim Southee destroyed English Batting Line up by taking 7 wickets.

Time Southee’s swing bowling blew England’s batting line up as he first picked up Bell on a total of just 18 followed by Ali’s return to pavilion on a total of 36. He also picked up Taylor who played a brilliant knock of 98 against Australia, he also fired Buttler, Woakes, Broad and Finn to count his wickets in the match to seven.

Joe Root was last batsman to return, he scored 46 runs, Boult Milne and Vettori shared a wicket each.

In response, New Zealand Team started with quick fire from hard hitter B McCullum, New Zealand Team crossed 50 runs in just 3 overs, which is quickest 50 runs by any team in a World Cup Match, and is third fastest first 50 runs in an ODI match.

On the total of 105, Woakes bowled McCullum when he was on 77 runs on just 25 balls, his innings include 8 boundaries and 7 sky scraper sixers. His strike rate remains 308 during his innings, Guptill (22) also left the crease on 112.

New Zealand Chased the total of 124 in just 12.2 overs, Southee named Man of The Match for his 7 wickets hall of which he bowled 4 English Batsmen.




With this win, New Zealand has toped Pool A with 3 Win and a 3.586 positive healthy run rate.
