Pakistan’s failure Continue in ICC World Cup 2015

Today on 21st February 2015, West Indies beat Pakistan by a clear margin of 150 runs in 10th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Tournament, all plans of Pakistani team totally went wrong, Misbah eleven first won the toss and he decided to judge his bowling strength, however West Indies Team put 310 runs on board, Pakistani Fielders helped West Indies Team to put such a huge target, overall Pakistani fielders left about half dozen of catches and provide opportunities to West Indian team to set such a huge target.

This is 11th failure of Pakistan in Australia or New Zealand when they were chasing a target of 280 or more, earlier West Indian batsmen D Ramdin scored 51, L Simmons scored 50 while Bravo was retired on 49, Pakistani Team also gifted 23 runs in shape of extra runs to West Indies Team. West Indies scored 89 runs in last 6 overs including quick fire of 42 runs by Andre Russells on just 13 balls including 4 maximums and 3 4s.

Chasing the huge target, Pakistani Team was caught in trouble in very first over when out of form left handed opener Nasir Jamshed was caught by Russell on a bouncer on the bowling of Taylor, his stay on crease was just for 2 deliveries only. Younis Khan was came on one down position, but he returned without scoring a run on very first ball he faced and Pakistani supporters were left stunned as their team lost 2 wickets in opening over of their innings.

On last ball of 3rd over, Haris Sohail also threw his wicket on the bowling of Taylor, sub fielder Carter took his catch. On very next delivery, Opener Ahmed Shehzad gave catch practice to Simmons, this time Jason Holder was bowler.

Captain Misbah and Maqsood joined to move on score boards, however Misbah was caught in slip on the bowling of Russell, Chris Gayle took a nice catch in slip. Half of the Pakistani Team was returned to pavilion in the journey of 25 score in 10.3 overs.

Umar Akmal and Maqsood stopped the session of celebration for West Indian Bowlers for some time, the pair added 80 runs for 6th wicket, however Maqsood soon after reaching his 50 played a wrong short on the bowling of Sammy, Benn took catch in front of wicket.

Afridi and Umar Akmal Added 34 runs for 7th wicket, Akmal joined his team mates in pavilion, he remain top scorer for his team with 59 runs on 71 balls, his innings powered by 5 boundaries and a sixer. Afridi was victim of Benn, Jason Holder took his catch.

8 Pakistani Batsmen failed to enter into double figure, while 3 main batsmen failed to score a single run.

Taylor and Russell shared 3 wickets each, Benn contributed with 2 wickets for very first victory in ICC Cricket World Cup. Earlier Ireland Cricket Team has beaten West Indian Team.


Andre Russell named Man of The Match for his All Round Performance with bat, bowl and in field too.
