Sindh Festival Started as Bilawal Bhutto Kicked Off Inaugural Ceremoney

Sindh Festival has started in Sindh, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asfa Bhutto zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Ex-PM Pakistan Raja Parvez Ashraf and 500 other VIP personalities attend the inaugural ceremony. Bilawal Kicked lead inaugural ceremony at Moenjo Daro. Bakhtawar Bhutto released her song at Sindh Festival. The song was made with the collaboration of Musical band Mooroo.
The song has a tone of hip-hop while the song captures the preserving heritage of Pakistan and Sindh.


Bakhtawar Bhutto describes in song that how Pakistan should stand tall with honor and dignity. Did you remember Ali Gul Pir? The singer of Saeein toh saeein… he was assigned to made a special track for Sindh Festival, and he made the song Pakistan ka Beta inspired by his previous song to promote the Sindh Festival.



Bakhtawar Bhutto also promote the traditional Sindhi Ajrak and in her video message she said that “Meri Ajrak Mera Style”, aur aap ka? Both Bilawal and Asfa were looking active and energetic to promote the Sindh Festival.

Following are the events with available date, location and timing:

City Festival:
Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim Park Clifton Karachi will host City Festival from 2nd February to 15th February 2014. Timing is yet to be announced, while every festival has an epicentre. This festival will provide multiple pavilions and enclaves.

Art Festival:
Sindh Festival includes Art Festival at Frere Hall from 2nd to 15th of February. The Art Festival will explore the culture, living style, heritage and people of Pakistan

Music Festival:


Sindhi Music Festival

Music food for the sole, Sindh Festival will host Sindhi Music Mela on various location of Province Sindh. Sindh Music Mela will start from 2nd February and last till 15th February 2014. The Music will capture the Sindhi Culture, melodies of Sindhi Music, racial and linguistic of Sindh.

Grand Mushaira:
Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim Park Clifton Karachi will host a Grand Mushaira in two languages including Urdu and Sindhi. The Festival is schedule on 3rd February. The Mushaira will explore the ancient Sindhi language. The oral tradition of verbal verses based on folk tales has been continuing for thousands of years and has produced a plethora of wonderful soulful thinkers who weave words to make heart-felt poetry.

Desi Donkey Derbi Race:


Donkey Race in Karachi

Lyari in Karachi hosts a Donkey Race in which the winner the race is provided by Cash Prize. Sindh Festival will also host a Desi Donkey DerbiDesi Race at DHA Phase 8 Karachi nearby Sea View. The rAce will be held on 4 February 2014. You will indeed enjoy the Desi Donkey Derbi Race.
Kashmir is a lifeline for Pakistan. To tribute the Kashmir and its people, Sindh Festival will celebrate the 

Kashmir Day:
Kashmir Day on 5th of the February. Kashmir Day at Sindh Festival will cover the struggle of Kashmiri People and will enlighten their cause. The celebration of Kashmir Day at Sindh Festival will lighten the solidarity with people of Kashmir.

Seminar of French:
Sindh Festival includes an International Seminar on French Contribution to Pakistan Studies Alliance. The seminar will held on 5 & 6 February. The seminar will cover Archaeology of the Indus Civilisation, Paleontology, Society and Culture in the colonial, Islamic Archaeology, and post-colonial period, and Contemporary Studies as well.

Deep Sea Fishing Arabian Sea:
To entertain people with proper entertaining way, Sindh Festival has arranged a Fishing Tournament with a tag name Deep Sea Fishing Arabian Sea and will start on 6 February, this will provide a chance to meet with dolphin fish along boat.

Literature Festival:
To lighten the importance of Literature, Sindh Festival hosts a Literature Festival that will be held from 7-9 February 2014. Karachi Literature Festival launched in March 2010 and offers an open opportunity for all to participate in it. The festival at Sindh Festival will enlighten the diversity of authors, genres and their contribution towards Literature. The Literature Festival features various debates, discussions, lectures, mushairah, a book fair, book launches, readings, signings, comedy, satire, theatre and other entertaining things.

Basant Festival:


Basant in Karachi

Sindh Festival will also provide the entertainment of Basant. Basant is a celebration of Colors and happiness. The event is said to be bigger than any Basant event of Pakistan. The Basant Festival will be celebrated on 9th February. The Passes will be available soon to attend the Basant Festival.

Tribute to Sufi Izm:
Sindh Festival will celebrate and enlighten the Sufi Izm and their philosophy. The Sufi Night at Sindh Festival will indicate that mothered some of the most mystical spirits. The Sufis continue to be revered at shrines that sprawl across every last part of the region, from Sevan Sharif to Bhit Shah and from Abdullah Shah Ghazi to Sachal Sarmast.

International Film Festival:
Sindh International Film Festival will be held on 10 and 11 February.
Sindh Festival includes Fashion Festival and the Fashion Festival will be held on 12 and 13 February 2014. Fashion Festival includes catwalks and couture; the festival will provide a good entertaining opportunity.

Horse & Cattle Fetival:
Horse & Cattle Grand PrixHorse: this Festival will be held at Jacobabad and Hyderabad on 13th February 2014 and will capture the rural life of Sindh, the people of interior Sindh breed some of the finest livestock in the world. They care for these livestock as if they are family. It is hardly surprising then that these animals form a key part of Sindh's culture. Dating back countless years, the gathering of many villages and villagers at common grounds to compete in extremely challenging and demanding races has its roots deep in Sindh history.
