Kingdom Tower is a master planned Building and will be a
part of Jeddah Saudi Arabia. The Skyscraper Building will snatch the record of
tallest Building from Burj Al Khalifa located in UAE with 828 meters of height.
Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal is the financing the project. The purposed
height of Building is 1000 Meter, while the previous name of building was Mile
Tower as they planning to construct a mile high tower.
The total expected cost of Building is 75 Billion Saudi
Riyals. Adrian Smith has design the building. The Building is a part of Kingdom
City which is under development phase to make the Saudi Arabia Business and
Economic Zone.
The foundation work began in December last year, while the construction
work above ground level will hopefully start form 27th of the April this
month. The expected time period for the completion of Kingdom Tower is 63 months.
The Foundation of Tower is beneath 200 feet of ground level.
