Pakistan is likely to wait more for 3G – Afghanistan is using 3G since 2 years

Pakistan is a developing country, an chances for new and existing executives are greater for success, the Telecom Sector of Pakistan is a major sector and that sector has showed rapid progress in past decade, however Pakistan is still looking for getting 3G services, when country like Afghanistan has already got the Technology about 2 years ago.

The current Government showed some positive attitude towards launching 3G Spectrum, and set a target of Reserves of $2 Billion, however the incomplete homework has put the dream of $2 Billion Foreign Reserves in doubt, as the a survey revealed that IT Ministry of Pakistan can get only $850 Million instead of $2 Billion.

A member of Committee set by Foreign Minister revealed that the Finance Minister showed his angriness on failing to get targeted revenue. He said that Finance Minister is of the view to cancel the Auction for 3G License in case of failing to get targeted revenue.

The member stated that the main role of this failure include IT Ministry with incomplete homework.
