Pakistan beat South Africa in 29th Pool Match by 29 runs. Invited by Proteas for batting first, Pakistani team managed to scored
222 runs in 46.4 overs. The match was limited to 47 overs dur to rain. Misbah scored
56 runs, while Sarfraz Ahmed who also open for Pakistan Scored 49 runs.
In response, Pakistani bowlers performed well to defend a
low total against strong opponent. Muhammad Irfan picked up de Cock on 2nd
ball of match, Sarfraz Ahmed picked Kock behind stumps. Hashim Amala and Faf du
Plessis added quick 67 runs, however Rahat Ali gave Pakistan break through by picking
Plessis behind the wicket.
