According to J.C Cooper in the dictionary of Christianity, Saint Valentine who was a priest of Rome and was caged with allegations of succoring persecuted Christians. While according to Bede’s Martyrology, the Saint Valentine interrogated by Claudius II Roman Emperor who wanted to convert Saint Valentine to Roman Paganism.

New Zealand Start with Sensational Victory over Sri Lanka

Government of Punjab and NADRA to Issue Computerized Weapon License

Punjab Government seems to be more active than any other provincial government of Pakistan as Punjab Government has initiated several Public Welfare Projects including Metro Bus in Lahore and Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Laptop and Lam Schemes for Students, Computerization of Examination System and Computerization of Land Record System etc.

Now Government of Punjab has also initiated the process of Computerization of Weapon License form 26^th of the January 2015. The Interior Department of Punjab has advertised to apply for the Computerization of Weapon License, in first phase, Government of Punjab will issue Computerized License to those who got Manual Weapon License from 2009 to 2014.

Computerization Weapon License Fee:

The Normal Fee is 2000 as per Government of Punjab Website statement, however those who hold Manual Weapon License will have to pay 1400 Rupees in order to got Computerized Weapon License, while NADRA will issued Computerized Weapon License, you have to pay 1400 rupees on UBL Omni Shop.

Last Date to Apply:

Interior Department has marked 28^th February as last date to apply for Computerized Weapon License, after that deadline, any Manual Weapon License will be considered as illegal and will be expelled.

Procedure to Get Computerized Weapon License:

You have to pay 1400 Computerized Weapon License Fee to UBL Omni Shop, present this fee to NADRA Center along with your Computerized ID Card, Current Manual Weapon License and 2 Passport snaps.

PPP From 2008 to 2012: A Bitter Truth

Pakistan People Party ruled in all four Provinces and in Federal Government with its allies from 2008 to 2013 after Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto died in a Suicide Attack in Rawalpindi on 27^th December 2007 after her return to Pakistan. Ex-President Pakistan and Dictator Gen Rtd Prevez Musharraf separated himself from Politics and flew out of Pakistan, while Pakistan Army gave him Guard of Honor.

PPP Government Regime:

During the regime of PPP (Pakistan People Party), Corruption and terrorism were on top and Public faced a lot of challenges on such issues, bad governance, unemployment, energy crises, law & order, inflation, and misuse of resources were other problem as well. PPP government was so week that it can’t investigate and solve the Benazir Bhutto Murder Case during 5 years of their regime when then can utilize resource in their own favor. On last death anniversary of late Benazir Bhutto, Ex-President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari was complaining against Musharraf that if he took action against attack on Benazir Bhutto in Karachi, then no one can dare to repeat the same, Asif Ali Zardari added that if Musharraf dealt the responsible persons of Karsaz Attack, no one can dare to do the tricks like Peshawar Attack which claims Brutal Killings of School Children.

Musharraf's Reply to Zardari:

In response to Asif Ali, Prevez Musharraf said that it is better for him and for PPP to find the killers of Benazir rather than blaming him for her assassination. He added that PPP has yet to find the Killers of Murtza Bhutto and then Benazir Bhutto.

Benazir Murder Case Progress:

Anti Terrorist Court has listened 230 hearings of Benazir Bhutto Assassination case, while 7 judges were replaced due to several reasons, Initially Punjab Government formed a Joint Investigation Team, after which FIA took the command of Case, while the case was delayed to get the report from Scotland Year and United Nation Report on Benazir Murder Case. On the other hands, the lawyers of PPP were also not much interested to resolve the case.

Jamat-e-Islami View:

The General Secretary of Jamat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch said that first General Prevez Musharraf, than her husband and Ex-President Asif Zardari failed to resolve the issue, now current PM Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also failed to make any progress during his regime.

PPP Performance during 2008 to 2012:

Ex-PM Pakistan Benizair Bhutto was against terrorist activities in Pakistan that’s why militant groups killed her brutally in a public gathering, however her husband and Ex-President Pakistan was much involved in Corruption and to increase his assets and business, that’s why he totally failed to keep grip on country’s affairs, rather than he along with his ministers much involved in doing malpractices. We can see absence of government authority, entire country was dumb by terrorist activities and mobm blast including, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Turbut, Loralai, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Dir and others. However PPP Ministers especially Interior Minister Rehman Malik said all is well all the time during his regime. Instead of accepting the failure of security measurement, PPP Government marked the 2013 Quetta and Karachi Attack as quarrels between Shia and Sunni sects.

When I compare the regime of Musharraf and PPP, I found more killings during PPP regime, during Musharraf regime from 2004 to 2008, 121 People were killed in 10 drone attacks, while the PPP regime showed the killings via drone attacks and in Bomb Blasts are as under:

Achievements of PPP:

On completion of 5 years of PPP Government regime, the PM Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf and his Ministers were happy to complete their Government regime, however they ignore the increased Corruption, while Opposition PML-N supported the PPP Government to just bring democracy in Pakistan, indeed Pakistani Public has paid much for such corrupt democracy.

Transparency International Report:

According to Transparency International report, Pakistani Politicians made US$ 94 Billion or 8.5 Trillion PKR from Corruption and other malpractice by using unfair advantages of their authorities.

Bitter Truth:

I am not the supporter of any Dictator or Government that came into existence due to militancy or any other unfair means, however the bitter truth is that our elected Governments have showed public worst time whenever public has elected them as their representatives.

Security Situation in Pakistan during PPP Government

پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی 2008ء سے 2013ء تک مرکز اور چاروں صوبوں میں اپنے اتحادیوں کے ساتھ حکمرانی کرتی رہی ،اس سے پہلے27 دسمبر 2007ء کو پیپلز پارٹی کی قائد بینظیربھٹو دہشتگردی کا شکار ہوگیں، پرویز مشرف جلدہی اقتدار سے علیدہ ہوگئے اور پیپلز پارٹی برسراقتدار آگئی، آصف زرداری ملک کے صدر بن گئے۔ پیپلز پارٹی کے دور میں دو کاموں کو بہت عروج حاصل ہوا، پہلا کام تھا کرپشن جبکہ دوسرا کام تھا دہشتگردی۔ سابق وزیراعظم بینظیربھٹو کو دہشتگردی کا نشانہ بنے ہوئے سات سال ہوگے ہیں۔ پانچ سال تک پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی مرکز اور سندھ میں حکمراں رہی اور بینظیربھٹو کےشوہرآصف زرداری ملک کے صدر رہے لیکن اُنکے قاتل کون تھے اس سوال کا جواب آجتک قوم کو نہ مل سکا۔ گڑھی خدا بخش میں کھڑئے ہوکر سابق صدر آصف زرداری شکوہ کررہے تھے کہ اگر بینظیرپرکراچی حملے کا نوٹس لے لیا جاتا اور شاہراہ فیصل پر450بچوں کےقتل کانوٹس اگر "بلا" (سابق صدر جنرل پرویز مشرف) لےلیتا تو آج یہ دن نہ دیکھنا پڑتے۔ بقول آصف زرداری اگر دو ہزار ساتھ میں بینظیربھٹو کے قتل پر ایکشن لے لیتے تو سانحہ پشاور نہ ہوتا۔ جواب میں پرویز مشرف کا کہنا ہے کہ بینظیربھٹو کی موت کا سب سے بڑا فائدہ اُن کے شوہر آصف زرداری کو ہوا۔ زرداری کے خطاب پر ردعمل دیتے ہوئے سابق صدر کا کہنا تھا وہ دوسروں کی غلطیاں تلاش کرنے کی بجائے قاتلوں کو تلاش کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا پیپلز پارٹی کو پہلے مرتضیٰ بھٹو اور بینظیربھٹو کے قاتلوں کا پیچھا کرنا چاہئے۔

بینظیربھٹو کے قتل کیس کی انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت میں 230 سماعتیں ہو چکیں ہیں، سات جج تبدیل ہوئے مگر کیس تاحال ابتدائی مراحل میں ہے۔ مقدمے کی ابتدائی تفتیش پنجاب حکومت کی تشکیل کردہ جوائنٹ انوسٹی گیشن ٹیم نے کی۔ بعدمیں تفتیش ایف آئی اے کی مشترکا تحقیقاتی ٹیم کے سپرد کر دی گئی۔ اسکاٹ لینڈ یارڈ سے تحقیقات کرانے اور اقوام متحدہ کی تحقیقاتی رپورٹ کا انتظار کرنے کی حکومتی درخواست کے باعث بھی خصوصی عدالت میں ٹرائل ڈیڑھ سال تاخیر کا شکار رہا۔وکلاء صفائی کا کہنا ہے کہ ٹرائل میں تاخیر کی بڑی وجہ بینظیربھٹو کے ورثاء کا مقدمے میں دلچسپی نہ لینا ہے اور آصف زرداری ایک شوہر کی حیثیت سے بینظیربھٹو کے سب سے بڑئے ورثاء ہیں۔ جماعت اسلامی پاکستان کے سیکرٹری جنرل لیاقت بلوچ کا کہنا ہے کہ بینظیربھٹو کے المناک، وحشیانہ قتل کی واردات نے پاکستان ہی نہیں پوری دنیا کو سوگ میں مبتلا کر دیا تھا، یہ پوری قوم کے ساتھ ظلم ہے کہ جنرل پرویز مشرف اور آصف زرداری دور کے بعد اب نوازشریف کے دور اقتدار میں بھی بینظیربھٹو کے المناک قتل کی تحقیقات منظر عام پر نہیں آئیں۔ زرداری کی پیپلز پارٹی نے اپنے پانچ سالہ دور حکومت ایک مرتبہ بھی بینظیربھٹو کے قاتلوں تک پہنچنے کی کوشش نہیں کی۔
بینظیربھٹو بہت شدت سے دہشتگردی کے خلاف تھیں اور اپنی زندگی کے آخری وقت میں وہ روالپنڈی کے اپنے جلسے میں دہشتگردوں کو للکار رہی تھیں۔ اُنکے قتل کے بعد پیپلز پارٹی کے دور میں مسلسل دہشتگردی ہوتی رہی لیکن اُنکے شوہر آصف زرداری کرپشن میں مصروف ہونے کی وجہ سے دہشتگردی کو نہ روک سکے۔ پیپلز پارٹی کے پانچ سالہ دور میں ہر طرف کرپشن، بدامنی، افراتفری اور لاقانونیت تھی۔ پورئے ملک میں دہشتگردی کا راج تھا۔ پورا ملک دھماکوں میں گھرا ہوا تھا۔ کراچی ، کوئٹہ ، پشاور، تربت، لورالائی ، ڈیرہ غازی خان، دیر غرضیکہ سارا ملک دہشتگردی کا شکار تھا لیکن پیپلز پارٹی کے وزرا فرماتے تھے ان واقعات کے ہم ذمہ دار نہیں ہیں یہ امن و امان قائم رکھنے والے اداروں کی ناکامی ہے۔ مارچ 2013ء کے کراچی اور کوئٹہ میں ہونے والے دھماکوں کی ذمہ داری قبول کرنے کے بجائے اُسے سُنی اور شیعہ فسادات اور فرقہ واریت کا رنگ دیا گیا اور حالات کو کنٹرول میں لانے کا دعوی کیا گیا، حیرت کی بات یہ تھی حکومت اپنی پانچ سال کی مدت پوری کرنے والی تھی اور پانچ سال بعد حالات کو کنٹرول میں لانے کا دعوی کیا جارہا تھا۔
سرادار ایوب کے ایک مضمون ْپیپلز پارٹی کا دور اور موجودہ حکومتْ کے مطابق 2004ْء سے 2008ء تک پرویز مشرف کے دور میں صرف دس ڈرون حملے ہوئے تھے جس میں تقریبا 121 افراد مارے گئے تھے۔جبکہ پیپلز پارٹی کی حکومت میں 2008ء میں تقریبا 26 ڈرون حملے ہوئے جس میں 156 افراد مارے گئے تھے۔2009ء میں 48، 2010ء میں 97، 2011ء میں 52 اور 2012ء میں37 حملے ہوئے تھے جس میں بالترتیب 536، 831، 548 اور 344 افراد جاں بحق ہوئے تھے۔2008ء سے 2013ء تک ڈرون حملوں کے علاوہ ملک میں بہت سارئے دھماکے ہوئے جس میں بہت سے بے گناہ لوگ مارے گئے۔سال 2008ء دھماکوں میں مرنے والوں کی تعداد تقریبا 2155، 2009ء میں مرنے والوں کی تعداد2324، 2010ء میں 1796، 2011ء اور 2012ء میں مرنے والوں کی تعدادبالترتیب 2778 اور 3007 تھے۔ اُس دور میں ملک میں ایک عجیب مایوسی پھیلی ہوئی تھی۔دھماکوں اور بدامنی کی وجہ سے لوگوں کا گھروں سے نکلنا مشکل ہو چکا تھا ْ۔
پانچ سال کے بعد جب پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کی حکومت کی مدت پوری ہوئی تو آصف زرداری، سابق وزیراعظم راجہ پرویز اشرف اور انکی کابینہ کے اراکین ، پیپلز پارٹی کے لیڈران اس بات پر خوشی سے پھولے ہوئے تھے کہ ان کی حکومت نے پانچ سال تک ایک جمہوری حکومت کو چلایا۔ لیکن پیپلز پارٹی کا پانچ سالہ دور حکومت کا یہ ریکارڈ بھی ہے کہ پانچ سال کے دوران زرداری حکومت کے دور میں دہشتگردی ، ٹارگیٹ کلنگ، بدترین کرپشن ، بری گورننس، طویل لوڈشیڈنگ،خود کش دھماکے اور ٹارگٹ کلنگ کی یلغار نےکوئٹہ اور پشاور جیسے بڑے شہروں کو درہم برہم کرکے رکھ دیا ہے، کراچی جو پاکستان کا معاشی حب ہے اسکا وہ برا حال ہوا کہ یہ شہر جو کبھی امن کا گہواراہ تھا اب لاقانونیت اور لاشوں کا شہر بن چکا ہے۔ 
گڑھی خدا بخش میں سابق وزیراعظم بینظیربھٹو کی ساتویں برسی پر کارکنوں سے خطاب کے موقعہ پر پیپلز پارٹی کے سربراہ آصف زرداری کے پاس کہنے کےلیے کچھ نہ تھا، وہ سیاسی طور پر قلاش ہوچکے ہیں، نہ ہی وہ اپنی سابقہ حکومت کے کارنامے گنواسکتے تھے اور نہ ہی صوبہ سندھ میں اپنی موجودہ حکومت کی تعریف میں ایک لفظ کہنے کی پوزیشن میں تھے۔ کاش آصف زرداری اب تو اقرار کرلیں کہ بینظیربھٹو کے قاتلوں کا نہ ملنا اور ہزاروں پاکستانیوں کی دہشتگردی کی وجہ سے ہلاکت کے وہ بھی ذمہ دار ہیں۔ اُنکی بدقسمتی کہ اپنے اکلوتے بیٹے بلاول زرداری کو اُنہوں ٹیسٹ ٹیوب بھٹو بنایا تھاتاکہ ملک کا اقتدار بھٹو کے نام پر وہ اپنے قبضے میں رکھ سکیں لیکن آجکل اُنکا بلاول زرداری واقعی بھٹوبنکراُنکے لیے پریشانیاں کھڑی کر رہا ہے۔ جس پیپلز پارٹی کی چیرمین بینظیربھٹو تھیں وہ ملک کے چاروں صوبوں میں موجود تھی،لیکن آج آصف زرداری جس پیپلز پارٹی کےشریک چیئرمین ہیں وہ پیپلز پارٹی صرف صوبہ سندھ کے دہی علاقوں تک محدود ہوگئی ہے۔ یہ ہی وجہ تھی کہ اُنکی مایوس کن تقریر میں اُنکا نشانہ فوج اور پرویز مشرف بنے۔

Humayun Saeed Injured in Bangkok Car Accident

Pakistani actor and producer Humayun Saeed has been severely injured in a car accident, he was present in capital of Thailand, Bangkok to shoot a film. He was hit by a Trawler when he was traveling to find a location for the shooting of upcoming movie.

Nadim Baig further added that Humayun was unconscious at the accident spot for 10 minutes, however after getting proper medical treatment, he is recovering from that bad time and is out of danger. The doctors said that he will be discharged within 2-3 days.

Breaking: Pakistan A beat Australia with Huge Win

Pakistan A Cricket Team has beaten the Australian Side in a Practice Match, and has proved their talent which National side was failed to do so. Malala Yousafzai Won Nobel Prize for Peace

Pakistan female Youngster, Malala Yousaf Zai has won Nobel Prize for Peace. Children’s Rights Activists Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan won the Nobel Prize along with Indian Kaliash Satyarthi of India. The award was given to both today in Oslo.

According to latest reports, the Norwegian Nobel Committee cited both for their struggle against suppression of Children and Youth and right of education for Children.

Malala also became the youngest one to receive the Nobel Prize for Peace, she is just 17 years old, She got fame after Taliban’s gunmen shot her in her head about two years ago in October 2012.

Malala Yousafzai was at Birmingham City when she was told that she has won Nobel Prize for Peace.

Malala is a student of Edgbaston High School, a private school in upmarket of Birmingham City, she joined the school in March last year.

The Chairman of Norwegian Nobel Committee paid tribute to Malala quoted that,

"Despite her youth, Malala Yousafzai, has already fought for several years for the right of girls to education and has shown by example that children and young people too can contribute to improving their own situations." 

On the other hand, 60 years old Indian Kaliash Satyarthi is well known for his struggle for youth and children, he has maintained the tradition of Gandhi, Stayarthi attended and lead several peaceful protests, focusing on the grave exploitation of children for financial gain in India.

Reacting to the news, Mr Satyarthi told the BBC: "It's a great honour for all the Indians, it's an honour for all those children who have been still living in slavery despite of all the advancement in technology, market and economy.

"And I dedicate this award to all those children in the world."

Chennai Super kings Become Champions of CLT 2014

Today Chennai Super Kings Beat Kolkata Knight Riders in Champions League T20 2014 season. Suresh Raina scored centaury on just 59 balls. Chennai Super Kings chased target of 181 on loss of just 2 wickets. Dhoni launched six to make his side winner of Champions League for second time.

Earlier KKR scored 180 runs in 20 overs of first innings of Final. Uthappa and Gambir provided a solid start of 91 runs in 10.5 overs, Uthappa was first to go, he scored 39 runs of 32 balls, his innings powered by 4 boudnaries and a sixer. Gambhir’s contribution in KKR innings was 80 runs, he used just 52 deliveries including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Despite perfect start, KKR can’t maintain the pace, rest of batsmen threw their wicket very cheaply. Hero of Semi Final for KKR picked up on 1 by Negi. Manesh Pnadey scored 32 while Yousaf Pathan remained not out on 20.

KKR to face Super Kings Today in Champions League T20 Final

Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will face each other in Champions League T20 2014 Season. Kolkata Knight Riders is unbeatable, however KKR will miss Spin giant Sunil Narine and his absence may cause trouble for KKR as they may not restrict opponent to lower score.

Muhammad Hafeez Out of Pak-Australia cricket Series

Pak-Australia Cricket Series will start from 5^th of the October with T20 Match, but bad news for Pakistan is that All-Rounder Muhammad Hafeez has been ruled out of series due to his damaged hand.

Hafeez was practicing in Nets and got his hand damaged during practice. The ball jolted his hand badly, Hafeez reported to hospital immediately, where surgeons stitched his hand.

He will have to take rest for 2-3 weeks, and will not be able to play cricket. He will miss T20 and ODI series against Australia.

The former captain of Pakistan T20 team has recently returned from India after playing Champions League T20, where his side Lahore Lions qualified for Main Round.

Quetta Blast, 7 Injured, Deputy Superintendent of Pashtoonabad merely

A Blast has been reported in capital of Balochistan Quetta City on Spini Road. The blast took place nearby Bakra Mandi on Saturday Morning.

The intensity of Blast was reportedly high, people of surroundings areas are feared injured in explosion.

Police officials and Rescue Teams rushed the jolted spot, however rescue and police officials faced difficulties due to heavy traffic jam on jolted spot.

Media Reporters marked 7 people as injured including one child, while police officials said that 30 to 40 kilograms explosion have been used in Quetta Blast.

Militant used Remote Control Device to Blast the explosion into a vehicle loaded with fruits was used to blast.

At the time of blast, Deputy Superintendent of Pashtoonabad was passing nearby, and it seems like that he was target of militant.
