Facebook, Twitter Data Hacked From Bitly

In recent news it has been exposed that data was hacked from URL shortening service of Bitly, Facebook and Twitter accounts, which might have embraced several users accounts. The news was broke by Mark Josephson Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, which has its headquarters in New York.

The news was broke by Mark Josephson on his blog where he posted that “our company has no clue at this time that any of the accounts have been compromised without authorization.” Bitly has also the same platform, which allows Facebook and Twitter users to login with their ids. Bitly have advised all its members to change their Facebook and Twitter passwords on immediate basis.

Bitly has asked his members to change their passwords as a security measure from their side and have made a request to login again with the website. There is no official news yet received of any users data breach or what actually was hacked during the attack. Chief Executive Officer of the company has been wordless since the news of breach of data on his company’s website.
