Today, KKR Kolkata Knight Riders beat CSK Chennai Super
Kings and qualify for IPL 7 Play Off. KKR was playing its 100th IPL
Match since the start of League. CKS failed to defend total of 154.
CKS set target of 155 supported by an impressive innings of
65 from Raina, MS Dhoni and Jadeja hard hitting enable CKS to put total of 154
on board.
In response, KKR started well when Robin Uthappa hit 2
boundaries in opening over, he was dropped in slips on 4th ball by
Ashwin, Uthappa got second chance in slips, when Raina miss the catch on the bowling
of Sharma.
Uthappa was looking in good touch, he played some fearless
strokes, which accelerate the KKR Innings. Gambhir was left for pavilion on
last ball of Power play, when he was bowled by Pandey. At the end of 6, KKR was
at 52 for the loss of their Captain. Gambhir scored 21 runs on 20 balls including
3 boundaries.
MK Pandey Joins Uthappa on Pitch in search of 155 target. Jadeja
got the wicket of Uthappa with the help of Du Plessis, he scored 4th
half century of current IPL season. His innings include 10 fours and a massive
sixer.
Shakib and MK Pandey shake hands and lead KKR to victory,
Shakib scored 46 runs on21 balls including 6 fours and 2 sixers, while Pandey
played the role of watch dog and scored 28 of 28 balls without any boundary.KKR
qualify for Play Off
