Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal In Jail

Indian Politician and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejirwal is now behind the bars of Delhi Police Station, he was arrested on Thursday 21 May, 2014 by Delhi Police in defamation case filed by BJP Leader Nitin Gadkari.



The supporters of AAP tried to interrupt in arrest of Kejirwal, while Delhi Police arrest those, who tried to interrupt in arrest. Kejirwal refused to pay 10,000 Indian Rupees for his bail, so authorities out him behind Jail Roads.

Kehirwal said that he didn’t do any offense, and he is a man of principle, for what he would have to pay 10,000. He prefer to go to jail, instead of moving free on bail.

Former CM of Delhi will remain in Jail for a period of 2 days till next hearing of defamation case. Next hearing will be held on 23rd May 2014.


Delhi Police has imposed section 144 in Delhi Police Station.
