Marsh and Hogg Ruled Out Lions from Champions League

Lahore Lions required a must win with heavy margin to qualify for Semi Final, however Lions took it to hard, and lost the match. Marsh and Hogg made Perth Scorchers home with their super strokes in death overs. The pair added 68 runs for 8^th wicket. Rest of batsmen struggled to move the score board.

Invited for batting first, Lahore Lions started very bad and lost top 4 batsmen on 11 runs, including Nasir Jamshed and Umar Siddiq on 1 run, while Muhammad Hafeez and Wahab Riaz failed to even score a single run.

Heros of previous match started well, however Hogg picked up dangerous Umar Akmal on 26 at mid wicket. Pakistan Won Women T20 Title in Asian Games

Pakistani Women Cricket Team beat Bangladesh to gain their title in Asian Games. Women of Pakistan have earned first Gold Medal for Pakistan as the T20 Team defended their title by beating Bangladesh.

Pakistani Women T20 Team scored 97 runs in a Rain-affected match, Green shirts lose 6 wickets for 97 runs, while Bisma Maroof remained top scorer with 24 runs to her name. Bengali Leg Spinner Rumna Ahmed picked up two wickets in her quota of overs.

Bangladeshi Women Team was provided by new target of 43 from seven overs, the total was revised with the help of Ducworth-Lewis Method after heavy rain.

Australian side Hobart Hurricans has beaten South African Cape Cobras by 6 wickets. South African team put high target on board. Hashim Amla was bowled by Hilfenhas when Cape Cobras were on 12 runs only. Re Levi scored 42 runs. All other batsmen contributed well, but no one can play long innings. UEFA Champions League also known as Champions League is an annual club level Football Competition between European Club Football Teams organized by Union of European Football Association (UEFA). Every year, millions of football fans watch this tournament either live in ground or on their Television Screen at home. Eight top teams of Group Stage are seeded with eight Runners-up unseeded.

Quarter Finals:

At this stage, pairings are determined via open draw to enter in Semi Final Stage.

Semi Finals:

Semi Final pairings are determined via open draw. No teams are seeded, while clubs from same country can be drawn against each other. According to rules, the team drawn first will play the first leg at home.

Final:

Final decide the Champion of Tournament. Two winner teams from Semi Finals meet each other in Grand Final of Champions League.

These MRAPs have been proven successful in preventing terrorist attacks on Pakistani Troops operating Operation Zarb-i-Azb.

USA and NATO Forces also use these MRAPs in Afghanistan, a defence official said that “these vehicles have proven very effective in preventing ambushes using improvised explosive devices or IEDs.”

Obama administration has informed Congress on Friday that it planned to sell 160 Ambush Proof vehicles to Pakistan, the total cost of deal is estimated at $198 million.

In a deadly incident near Daroghwala Lahore, at least worshipers killed and several others injured as mosque roof caves in due to heavy rain. Death toll is likely to arise. ICC Imposed ban on Saeed Ajmal

International Cricket Council has imposed ban on Magician Off Spinner Saeed Ajmal. Saeed Ajmal was reported with suspicious bowling action during Sri Lankan Tour. It is a big blow to Pakistan Cricket, former Test Cricketer Azhar Mehmood questioned the timing of act by ICC.

37 year old Off Spinner Saeed Ajmal was asked to report National Cricket Academy of Cricket Australia for analysis of his bowling action.

ICC imposed ban on Spinner after a bio-mechanical experts tested his bowling action in National Cricket Academy of Australia in Brisbane. Ajmal has right to appeal for re-assessment of his bowling action at any time.

The ICC release stated that, "An independent analysis has found the bowling action of Pakistan's off-spinner Saeed Ajmal to be illegal and, as such, the player has been suspended from bowling in international cricket with immediate effect.”

ICC release stated that all of the Ajmal’s deliveries crossed the 15 degree angle, before this Ajmal was reported with same case in 2009.

Ban on Ajmal is indeed a big blow to Pakistan Cricket Team as World Cup 2015 is near and Pakistan is lacking quality off spinner.
