The spokesperson of Pakistan navy reported that militants
attempted to break into dockyard on Defence Day, the on-duty guards respond
them with cross firing leaving 2 militants died, while one Navy Officer was
martyred and other 6 navy sailors injured. Navy Spokesperson revealed it on
Monday night.
The security officials arrest 4 other militants live and
after interrogating them, a search operation was led across country to arrest
the militants who were involved in planning.
Navy official report that, heavy amount of ammunition and
weapons were seized during search operation.
Chief of Naval Staff appreciated the role of on-duty guards,
congratulated security staff for successful search and hunt operation. Naval
Chief also visited hospital to meet with injured sailors and to tribute their
role and bravery to defend their country.
