Lahore Lions Beat Mumbai Indians in their Debut in Champions League. According to latest reports, Lahore Lions starts well in their first match in Champions League T20. Star Batsman Umar Akmal led Lahore Lions to Victory. He remained not out on 38.

Before this Mumbai Indians scored 135 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in first innings of match. Mumbai Indians lost first wicket at 20, when Aizaz Cheema took the wicket of Simmons. Wahab Riaz took the catch. Next batsman remained on pitch for one delivery only as Aizaz Cheema took him on Golden Duck, Wicketkeeper Umar Akmal caught him behind the stumps. Umar also caught Rayudu behind stumps when he was on 2.

Aditya Tare was top scorer from Mumbai Indians who scored 37 on 36 balls. Aizaz Cheema and Wahab Riaz share 2 wickets each, while Asif Raza and Imran Ali share 1 Wicket each. Harbhajan Singh was run out on 18.

Lahore Lions started well in chasing target of 136. Ahmad Shehzad scored 34 runs and lost his wicket just after Lahore Lions completed 50 runs. Nasir Jamshed was next to go. At the departure of Nasir, score board was showing 66 for the loss of 2 wickets in 10.4 overs. Muhammad Hafeez scored 18 runs and Saad Nasim scored 6 runs. Hafeez left crease when Lahore Lions crossed 100 mark. At that time, Lahore Lions required 36 runs in 4 overs.

Harbhajan Singh bowled 17^th over, Lahore Lions earned 10 runs from his last over.  At that time, Mumbai Indians introduced dangerous Malinga, however both Asif Raza and Umar Akaml played him well and pick up 15 runs from his over. Umar went for a six on second last ball.

Umar Akmal finished well in second last over of the match by hitting 4 on second ball followed by a massive six. He hit winning shot to earn first victory for Lahore Lions.
